9/4/25 - We are off and running in our 25-26 school year. We are a very young program this year! Of our 77 students, more than two-thirds are first year cadets. Energy and excitement is high!
10/2/25 - We are currently scheduled for our Annual HQ AFJROTC Assessment (Inspection) on Nov 21. This is a huge deal for us and the cadets are working hard to prepare. However, due to the current government shutdown, HQ AFJROTC is on furlough until further notice. This may impact the assessment schedule. I'll update here as I get more info.
10/7/25 - On October 16th, we, as a corps, will be traveling down to Portland Air National Guard Base for their annual Career Fair. It's a cool event that will allow cadets to sit in an F-15, talk to people representing various jobs, and get an up-close view of an F-15 takeoff. Lunch will be provided. We need chaperones! If you haven't already, fill out the District Volunteer Form HERE and come join us!
11/10/25 - Last week, our annual HQ Assessment was postponed due to the government shutdown. If/when it's rescheduled, I'll get the word out.
11/18/25 - Our annual HQ Assessment has been rescheduled! It's April 24, 2026. We're looking forward to showing off our program to the inspector.
11/20/25 - Corpsgiving is our annual Thanksgiving Celebration Potluck. It's a great time to bring the family together, enjoy some delicious food, and see what's happening in PHS AFJROTC. I highly encourage you to come on out and bring the whole family!
